Title: Fantastic Place for a Family Stay

My children wanted to have more activities specifically catered to them.

The room was incredibly cozy and comfortable, with a warm and inviting atmosphere. It made me feel right at home. The free WiFi was a big plus for me, as it allowed me to stay connected with friends and family during my stay. The private bathroom with a shower was convenient and ensured that I had a refreshing start to my day. I loved that the room was nicely furnished, giving it a charming and homely touch. The TV in the room was a nice addition for some relaxing downtime after a long day of exploring. The spacious room had a separate seating area, which was perfect for unwinding and enjoying a cup of tea.

Personally, I would have preferred a bathtub instead of just a shower in the bathroom.

The location of this hotel is perfect for exploring Lübeck's historic sites and attractions, including the famous Holstentor gate and the stunning cathedral. I was pleasantly surprised by the amenities in my room, especially the free WiFi which made staying connected a breeze. The hotel offers a rich breakfast buffet that was definitely worth waking up for, providing a great start to the day. The staff were professional and helpful, providing tour and ticket assistance when needed. The hotel has a charming terrace where guests can relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings.

Our room was on the top floor, providing a charming view of the old town. The staff at Zur Alten Stadtmauer were friendly and helpful, making us feel right at home. The breakfast selection was excellent, and the hotel's location was convenient. We also appreciated the availability of umbrellas for borrowing. I highly recommend this hotel for a pleasant stay in Lubeck.

The breakfast selection was delicious and we loved that we could enjoy it on the verandah overlooking the garden. The staff were very friendly and helpful, making our stay even more enjoyable.- The location of the hotel was perfect, right near the centre, making it easy for us to walk everywhere.

One day, the bin collection was very early and noisy, but that was partially our fault for having the windows wide open. The staircase was quite small and difficult to maneuver with suitcases, but this seems to be common in small inns within cities.

Stayed in the guesthouse across the road. Really nice room. Staff were very friendly and breakfast was excellent. Highly recommended.

The warm welcome and friendly and helpful attitude of the staff. They offered a delicious breakfast buffet on our late arrival. The room was ready earlier than we anticipated. We were also given a huge lunch package for our journey as we left fairly early.

The rooms at Hotel zur alten Stadtmauer are so cozy and comfortable. They have everything you need, like free WiFi and a private bathroom with a nice shower. It feels like a home away from home.

Personally, I wasn't a big fan of the TV in the room. But hey, that's just my opinion.

I absolutely loved the charming decor of Hotel Zur Alten Stadtmauer. The common areas were filled with beautiful artwork and the dining room was simply gorgeous. As a senior woman, I found the hotel to be very accessible. The staff was always available to assist and the private parking provided peace of mind.

I would have appreciated a more visible presence of the staff, especially in the evening. I sometimes had difficulty finding someone to assist me with my needs.

I would ask for better accessibility for senior people by adding an elevator. It would have made the vacation even more enjoyable, especially for those with limited mobility.

It was a hotel without elevator so we had to go 7 stairs up to our room.

The staff and location of Hotel zur Alten Stadtmauer were wonderful. I was booked for one night and ended up staying for two nights.They had a terrific breakfast buffet. I had been to Lubeck several times in the last 25 years but this was my first time in this part of town and it was great being in this attrractive, historic part of the city. I would gladly return there in future.

Challenging climb to the top floor.

Great location in a lovely town. Friendly staff and a spacious comfortable, room. The breakfasts were excellent. Would not go anywhere else in Lubeck!

The three flights of stairs to reach the room could have been difficult for some people. (This is not a complaint - just a comment)

The breakfast was mind-blowing, with a jaw-dropping variety and the most affordable price. The staff was super friendly and provided lots of helpful information. The hotel's location was great, offering a quiet retreat. The outside bathroom was a genius idea. The beautiful and warm coloring of the hotel made it feel very inviting. It was the perfect place to explore a wonderful city, with cheap yet fine accommodations.
